Those of you who keep an eye on our facebook page, or who have seen us playing live recently, might have noticed a change in the three of us. Amy was an integral part of making 4ITF what it is today, so rather than remove her bio from the site, we've left the original line-up at the bottom of this page, and we're just going to introduce you instead to....
Vicki (by Liz)
Vix kinda bumbled into 4iTFire or at least that’s how it looks… God knew and has provided again! It’s kinda embarrassing though, the songs that took me 1yr+ to learn (and I’m still working hard on) Vix was hollerin’ like a natural just after 2-3 practices. As well as being real fun to be around, she’s very blessed with a variety of impressive creative gifts and I’m so thrilled I’ve been alongside her whilst she does her ‘thing’ when she sings and plays the flute (not at the same time obviously – that would be weird); I’ve even got to be arty with her at Grace Festival 2010 (real privilege!).
I’m excited about what God has in store in this new season and it’s great to have Vix on-board for the trip – wherever He takes us next!

Liz is the driving force behind the singers with 4ITF. She is married to Dylan and works very hard, yet still finds the time and energy to make it to those late night rehearsals that are typical of 4ITF! About two years ago Liz came home from
Stamps Baxter School of Music
full of ideas to bring vocal harmony to Somerset, and that’s when she pulled me in on the journey. She loves to be silly and provides many of the giggles that tend to halt recording time! It’s a pleasure to sing with Liz, not to mention challenging as she works so hard, I can’t keep up! In fact, when you’re driving keep an eye out for the lady with the crazy facial expressions as she does most of her practice in the car! (That is when we’re not “cruising” around listening to the Booth Brothers of course!) I’m excited about the future of singing with 4ITF and all the amazing times I know we’ll share along the way, even if there is a breakdown in the separation of the classes!

Amy giggles - nuff said really! Until you experience watching cartoons with her you might mistakenly think she was the organised and practical one... it's just a good bluff. That said, don't think she won't organise you into a box given half the chance, not sure what I'd do without her abilitiy to step in and turn her hand to helping with just about anything (we became firm friends over the clean up of Dylan's attempt to flood our kitchen out!!!) and every event we manage to bumble into she's there determind to make 'it' happen and move everything two milimetres to the left of where I'd already carefully placed it. God did an ace thing linking us up... it was a right time, right place thing when we both started to squeal and bore others stupid with endless hours of Southern Gospel DVDs (assuming she'll ever stop talking and let you listen to a whole song... okay I'm just as bad!). She's an amazin' friend to have share the experience of 4ITF, singing like we do (generally from 11pm to the early hrs) you get pretty up close and personal; love her encouraging ways, admire her bravery and determination and praise God that I get to sing (and occassionally, blend) with her. ...And who knows if 'The Career' doesn't happen she could take up professional whistling, she's very good but could be awsome with a little more practice!
Which leaves me... I'm Dylan
After years of whining that playing solo wasn't an awful lot of fun, I now have company, and although the journey of 4ITF is just starting, all that laughter has stopped the whining already - except perhaps when it's 2am and we've still not sung a note! One of the interesting challenges is taking songs that were written for one grumbling welsh-man and producing arrangements that work with the girls. Hopefully during the next few months we'll begin to write more together, and for me that'll be the most exciting part of the process. Over the years, my musical journey has included orchestras, jazz quartets, skiffle bands, madrigal choirs, barbershop quartets, and even the odd bit of rocking out with a student band or two. It's been fun, but there's something different about this new beginning? Maybe it's the heart? Maybe it's the raw, experimental feel to the process? Or just maybe, it's that there's a Fourth Man in this enterprise, and He's got a future and a purpose for us that we haven't seen the whole of.... Yet!
